The purpose of this document is to provide you with information about what personal information we collect, how we handle it, from what sources we collect it, for what purposes we use it, to whom we may disclose it. We process identification and contact data with your consent or from publicly accessible registers, lists and evidences (business register, trade register, publicly available databases, including information on the Internet, which the partner publishes about himself.

 

For what purposes Current Media, s.r.o. does he use and process personal data?

For the purposes of concluding publishing contracts and paying remuneration. Furthermore, for the purpose of registration of these contracts in the accounting system at Current Media, Ltd. The data are processed for registration and assigning of user passwords for websites www.onkologickarevue.cz and www.farmakoterapeutickarevue.cz as well as for keeping track of magazine subscriptions, electronic magazine subscriptions, or book sales.

 

To whom does Current Media, s.r.o. provide personal information?

Government agencies or specialized external entities performing agreed services for the current Current Media, s.r.o. For the processor we select only a person who will provide maximum guarantees about the technical and organizational security of the transferred personal data (eg processor of accounting agenda, distribution company).

 

How do we ensure the protection of personal data?

Personal data is under constant physical, electronic and procedural control. We have modern control and technical and security mechanisms ensuring maximum data protection. The information is secured against unauthorized access or transmission, as well as other possible misuse.

All persons who come into contact with personal data in the course of their work or contractual obligations are bound by law or by a confidentiality obligation.

 

What are the partner's options for processing and transferring personal data?

With the exception of cases stipulated by law where the processing of personal data does not require consent (Section 5 of Act No. 101/2000 Sb., about the personal data protection), Current Media, s.r.o. processes personal data only with the consent of the partner. Unless otherwise agreed by the parties, the consent given may be revoked or modified by the partner. Current Media, s.r.o. is firmly bound by the scope of consent given and fully respects it.

 

The partner can request in writing what personal data Current Media processes. Information to the extent stipulated by law (Section 12 (2) of Act No. 101/2000 Sb. about the protection of personal data will be prepared by Current Media, s.r.o. without undue delay and handed over to the partner in person, unless another handover is agreed. If the partner believes or discovers that there has been a breach in the processing of personal data by Current Media, s.r.o. in violation of its rights or obligations stipulated by law, it may seek redress using all means provided by the applicable legislation.
