SOUHRN

Cílená léčba je v současnosti standardem pro pacienty s metastatickým renálním karcinomem. Úspěch cílené léčby do velké míry závisí na správném zvládání nežádoucích účinků provázejících terapii. Výskyt některých nežádoucích účinků pozitivně koreluje s účinkem léčby, takže by jejich aktivní léčba měla předcházet snížení dávky či vysazení cíleného léku.

SUMMARY

Targeted therapy is currently the standard for patients with metastatic renal cell carcinoma. The success of targeted therapy depends to a large extent on the proper management of adverse reactions of the treatment. As the occuren­ce and severity of some side effects are associated the treatment outcomes, their active treatment is mandatory and should precede dose reductions or discontinuation of the targeted drug.
